The large curved elevation—harmonizing with the site’s natural morphology—is actually a double skin. It consists of a glazed inner layer in direct contact with the guest rooms and an outer stone layer with random openings that make every single room unique and recognizable. The local stone used to build the project’s image, sourced from the site’s own excavations, evokes the traditional dry-stone walls typical of the Tuscan countryside
